Heat Treatment

To solve air quality problems in heat treatment industry, special knowledge is required. It is quite a difficult task, but not for Absolent. When metals are heat treated during annealing / tempering, hardening / quenching processes oil mist and oil smoke is emitted as the work piece is heated or quickly chilled after it has been heated up. Without a proper filter unit ready for the task, the indoor air will quickly become contaminated.

There are many difficult tasks when it comes to these applications. The most important one is to handle the very small particles, even sub-micron sizes smaller than 1 micron. Special attention might be needed for common issues related to heat treatment, such as odor, fire risks and sticky particles. Depending on the task, the filter selection is different – we use either A•mist or A•smoke. Both have proven to be excellent choices worldwide!
